What are your experiences with a diaphragm ( birth control )?

I recently had the Implanon implant removed from my arm and I'm looking for a birth control that doesn't contain any hormones. ( I'm married with two kids ). I was just wanting to know about any experiences you've had with them. Are they hard to insert? And take out? Would you recommend them?
