GIRLS: what happens now :)?

i asked her to hangout...she was on fb on her phone...she never responded. she may not have even gotten it..the fb app is so screwy. what is the best thing to do now. do i act like i never asked? how do i tell if she got it? do i ask her about it? do i ask again? should i just try and get to know her..and get her number?
